The KSC7 series sealed tact switch for SMT offers multiple mounting and actuation configurations, providing greater flexibility along with the ability to be configured for application-specific needs. C&K’s KSC7 is an IP67 rated, 4.3mm high soft actuator switch – and is perfect for industrial, consumer, automotive and remote applications because of its long lifecycle and durability.

    Depending on the application, this component is suited to the following methods: Terminals being silver or gold plated over a nickel barrier, the use of slightly activated flux is suitable, Soldering on double wave machine for vertical versions: soldering time < 5 sec, Cleaning according to typical washing processes, Infrared Reflow Soldering in accordance with IEC 61760-1.
