C&K, the leading manufacturer of high reliability electromechanical switches, today announced the launch of its new RTF Low Profile Rotary DIP Switch, the latest product series in its DIP Switch lineup. The new RTF offers the smallest footprint for Coded DIP switches on the market for industrial, consumer and medical device applications.
The RTF is the latest product innovation showcasing C&K’s uncompromising approach to quality and reliability. The Low Profile Rotary Dip Switch is water-resistant, providing the smallest footprint design ever at 7.2mm X 7.2mm. This is ideal for industrial, consumer and medical devices that need small, but high-reliable components that won’t fail since they are oftentimes used in environments that could compromise quality and performance, such as major household appliances where these devices are exposed to liquids.
Other features include:
- Small footprint to meet the size restrictions of devices that continue to get smaller
- Thru-hole, crimped, J-Hook, angled and surface mount models to fit any design requirement
- New designs and options with different actuators and different terminations to ensure proper device function
- IP67 water resistance for devices exposed to various environmental elements
“Our new RTF Low Profile Rotary DIP Switch signals a demand for smaller components that many of today’s devices require in order to function and perform properly,” said Jeffrey Phan, Global Product Manager at C&K. “Before our solution, designers had very limited options when manufacturing their products that needed to meet strict specifications, such as size. The RTF is perfect for a range of industries that need compact, but reliable switches for their products that are easy to implement and won’t fail.”
