Inside Sales Representative/EMS Coordinator, Americas

Job Title: Inside Sales Representative/EMS Coordinator, Americas

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a member of the C&K sales organization and reporting to Regional Sales, the Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating qualified new client leads, maintaining contact with current customers to determine additional needs, and updating the CRM database. While B2B experience is preferred, we will consider qualified candidates with varied customer sales experience. We are willing to train and develop the right candidate who has the right attitude and aptitude!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualify and accept Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) generated by digital marketing initiatives
Support case management and Lead management in SalesForce.com (SFDC)
Provide price quotations to Customers that purchase directly from C&K
Provide technical assistance and interpretation of company supplied product literature to Customers that purchase product directly or from one of our distribution partners
- Refer complex technical inquiries to appropriate personnel while maintaining ownership
Collaborate with cross-functional departments to insure prompt, accurate responses that meet or exceed customer requests, while maintaining ownership of the response
Work closely with Regional Sales Managers and Manufactures Representatives to support and close customer opportunities within given region
Make recommendations of process improvement opportunities to eliminate, automate or consolidate non selling activities
Collaborate and share best practices with your colleagues on the Inside Sales team
Assist Customers that request samples that are not in stock to either select a more popular part or to send an interim product close in specification

EMS Coordinator Specific:

Coordinate all quotes for global requests
Identify key OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturer (customers and work with Sales Representatives to ensure C&K engagement
Develop and execute global strategic business plan to enhance C&K position and increase market-share at top global EMS customers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree in business
2+ years sales experience with experience in electronics sales preferred
Experience with switches, sub-miniature, or electro-mechanical product is desired
PC Skills (MS Outlook, Excel and Word)
Experience with CRM Tracking and Reporting (Familiarity with SFDC a plus)
